What is the policy for refunds at Sol Hus?
You must provide at least thirty (30) days written notice by way of email to us before your arrival if you wish to cancel or change your booking dates.
Subject to us receiving written notice above, and in the event of a cancellation, we will provide you with a refund in the sum of your booking fee less 5%, of which amount will be retained by us as an administrative cancellation fee.
Rebooking:
Should you provide less than thirty (30) days written notice of a booking cancellation, we may offer you an alternative booking date or credit note at our sole discretion. While we will do our best to find an alternative booking date, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to change your booking to your next preferred date and time.
NOTE: All reservations for stays between December 15 and January 10 are subject to a strict no-cancellation policy. This policy is enforced due to the high probability of ferry overbooking and service disruptions during this period, which may inhibit travel to and from the island. Guests are solely responsible for securing timely ferry reservations. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any travel disruptions.
Gift Vouchers: Alternatively, we can issue a gift voucher for the value of your booking. These vouchers are perfect for future stays at Sol Hus, either for yourself or as a gift to someone special. The vouchers are valid for a specified period, giving you or the recipient ample time to plan a visit.
For either option, please contact us at your earliest convenience to make the necessary arrangements. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur, and our aim is to provide flexibility and peace of mind with our booking options.
How much notice is required to rebook my stay?
At Sol Hus, due to the isolated nature of our location and the typical advance planning our guests undertake, we require a notice period of 30 days for any rebooking requests. If you need to change your booking and it's less than 30 days from your scheduled arrival, we regrettably cannot guarantee the option to swap dates or issue credit notes. The feasibility of accommodating late rebooking requests is at our discretion and will depend on factors like the time of year and the likelihood of rebooking the dates.
